Would being a belle in the Azalea Festival be counted as volunteer work?? I ask not only because I am interested in being a belle, but because we were talking about how you have to have volunteering on college apps.
This is a tricky one actually. While you are technically volunteerig your time, it isn't for any community or worldly "good." I guess you cpi;d stretch it to make it sound community basic, historically. So if you are interested anyway, definitely do it!
Oh I meant to ask you anyway Ms. Jones. Kadie Gaster told me that you knew some garden club people, and I want to be a bell this year. Could you possibly get me their contact information to see if they want to sponsor me? If so that would be fantasatic!!
You have to be sponsored by someone in the garden club and you have to get one of the dresses and have it altered and/or repaired and then you sit outside at various homes looking bellish and smiling and letting people take pictures of you.
I have several friends that did it last year. And I want to be it so bad,and apparently its been my Dad's sescret ambition for me since we moved here lol
